Program Management

Program Management is one of the most interesting and challenging roles in business today. When clients want to achieve one or more strategic business objectives, they execute programs that can cost millions of dollars and last for many months. Managing these programs requires a tremendous “big picture” orientation, knowing how to plan and control the various tranches of s program, strong leadership, effective stakeholder engagement skills and a relentless focus on outcomes and benefits realization. Program Managers should learn to see their programs from the clients’ vantage, constantly look out for threats and opportunities and handle issues professionally. The competencies needed to play this role are generally considered rare today and many companies are actively seeking to address this gap.

This two-day workshop aims to address this gap by focusing on critical Program Management competencies. Participants will learn about what it takes to run a large program and will be provided tools and tips to manage programs effectively.
