Sridhar Krishnan

Sridhar Krishnan is an accomplished multi-disciplinary professional offering 18 years of international corporate experience.  Sridhar commenced his career in the U.S. with an advanced degree in Environmental Engineering followed by a 5-year stint offering environmental consulting and applied engineering solutions to industrial customers.  Sridhar’s subsequent career of 13 years in the global IT services industry includes more than 10 years at Wipro Technologies in a series of progressive and wide-ranging leadership roles in Wipro’s Energy & Utilities Business Unit including the following:

  • General Manager, Europe Presales (2008-09)
    Responsible for driving Wipro’s business growth in the European utilities market through client engagement, partner network development, building local teams, market research, sales support and client solutions leveraging cross-functional collaboration across the Wipro enterprise.
  • Head – Global Electricity Practice (2006-07)
    Established & led a practice dedicated to the development and growth of Wipro’s solution capabilities and business focused on global electricity markets and clients. Main priorities included development of advanced domain and solution capabilities relevant to the power industry, business growth, client engagement and partner network development.
  • Senior Consultant – Business Solutions (2005)
    Engaged in the development of point solutions for key utility industry business challenges and in supporting business development in allied areas through consultative selling and engagement with gas and power utilities in Europe.
  • Program & Project Manager Roles (July 1999-2004)
    Led the delivery, implementation and onsite client engagement in the context of large multi-year system integration programs in the areas of energy trading and mission-critical SCADA systems for a large European utility.

Across these roles, Sridhar has directly led or contributed to business growth, led multiple large project teams and developed enduring client relationships.
